The European Union delegation in Chile, composed of 17 diplomats from member states, met with representatives of H2V Magallanes AG to learn first-hand about the progress of green hydrogen projects in the region and the challenges the sector is facing.
During the meeting, Antoine Liane, Vice President of H2V Magallanes AG and General Manager of TotalEnergies H2, highlighted the need to shorten permitting timelines for project implementation and to enhance competitiveness. He also stressed the importance of public-private collaboration in developing port and road infrastructure to support the growth of the green hydrogen industry in Magallanes.
