At Hyvolution Chile 2025, the H2 Magallanes Project had a prominent participation, sharing our vision for the development of green hydrogen in Chile and the strategic role of the Magallanes region.
Our Public Affairs Manager, Mónica Buvinic, took part in the panel “The Territorial Dimension of Green Hydrogen: Challenges and Opportunities for NGOs, Communities, and Developers”, where she presented our experience in building a social license to operate and highlighted:
“The results of the Cadem survey in Magallanes show broad public support for the development of green hydrogen in the region, along with high expectations regarding employment, innovation, and sustainability. This support drives us to continue working collaboratively with the territory.”
Likewise, our General Manager, Antoine Liane, participated in the panel “Green Hydrogen Project Portfolio: Driving Value Creation and National Competitiveness”, stating:
“We are putting all our bets for Chile on this project in Magallanes, one of the largest investments ever submitted to the Environmental Assessment Service (SEA): 5,000 MW of installed wind power capacity.”
In parallel, we celebrated a milestone in international cooperation with the French Embassy in Chile, the Ministry of Energy, and leading French companies, strengthening human capital development in Magallanes and sharing innovation in green hydrogen.
These spaces reinforce our commitment to a collaborative energy transition and to the sustainable development of the region.
